ITA Operations Manager Position

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Information Technology Alliance (ITA) is seeking a remote Operations Manager to join our nonprofit membership organization. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and the successful execution of our events. Reporting to the President and Vice President, the Operations Manager will collaborate across teams to support ITA’s mission and enhance the member experience. This position offers the potential for growth into a leadership role over time.

Salary Starting at $50,000

KEY Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate and attend committee meetings; take notes and manage follow-up actions.
  • Assist in scheduling and task management for event planning.
  • Execute email and electronic communications on behalf of ITA.
  • Update content on the ITA website and membership systems.

Event Administration and Support

  • Participate in project team meetings and maintain project schedules.
  • Support event registration processes and update member profiles.
  • Staff the registration desk at ITA events.
  • Track staff travel itineraries.
  • Draft event-related communications and templates for review.
  • Create post-event slideshows; organize event pictures and videos.
  • Maintain a speaker database for keynote and workshop planning.

Compliance and Financial Tasks

  • Assist with NASBA accreditation for Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
  • Manage agency filings in Delaware and North Carolina.
  • Oversee ITA insurance schedules (e.g., General Liability, D&O).
  • Track ITA applications, subscriptions, and renewal deadlines.
  • Provide support for detailed accounting tasks as needed.

Social Media and Community Engagement

  • Manage LinkedIn Live schedules, speaker bios, and follow-ups.
  • Curate and organize member news and updates.
  • Coordinate press releases and maintain industry contacts.
  • Enhance ITA’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Support ITA online communities and social media platforms.

Special Projects and Communication

  • Assist with scheduling and planning for external events (e.g., AICPA ENGAGE, state CPA society trade shows).
  • Contribute to special projects assigned by ITA leadership.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Technology: Willingness to learn and adapt to various technology tools.
  • Creativity: Capable of designing engaging graphics and content.
  • Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
