Click Here FOUNDERS As discussed in the History, ITA was founded in 1997 from an organization ACUTE. ITA merged into the AICPA as a Member Section in Fall, 2001. Because of industry changes, ITA de-merged and reformed in January, 2002. A new vision and structure was established. A Founders Meeting was held in July, 2002 at The Peninsula Hotel in Chicago.
