COMMITMENT TO HEALTH & SAFETY

ITA's Health & Safety Policy

Information Technology Alliance (ITA) cares about the Health & Safety of the community. It is our top priority as we work to bring everyone back together safely. We are committed to our responsibility as event organizers and have implemented extensive sanitization protocols at the conference.

It is up to each of us individually to follow those protocols and help protect the health of everyone in our community.

Here's what we're doing to keep you safe at our Fall Collaborative.

Masks

CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health recommend that both vaccinated and non-vaccinated people wear masks in public settings to limit coronavirus spread. We strongly support these recommendations and ask that all conference attendees wear masks while in meeting and common areas of the hotel.  Note: Hotel will not enforce mask usage with hotel guests, but all staff members are required to wear masks as part of their uniform.

Masks will be available to all attendees at check-in and upon request.

Attendee Distancing Key

All attendees will be able to display their preferences of interacting with other attendees through an wrist band which will be self selected at the registration desk.

  • Green – Hi-Fives, Hugs, and Handshakes

  • Yellow – Elbows only – Still being cautious

  • Red – Hello! I am keeping my distance.

Sessions & Breakouts

We are going to extra lengths to ensure that every meeting room is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Below is what you can expect in session rooms.

Breakout sessions will have tables set aside with limited seating capacity. Chairs will be placed to ensure adequate social distancing. Those who prefer distanced seating are encouraged to use these tables and seating areas.

Event staff will sanitize all equipment, tables, chairs, and podium in every meeting room with electrostatic spray at the end of each day.

Trash will be emptied in between sessions, during lunch breaks, and at the end of each day.

Cleaning products will be available in every meeting room for attendees wishing to take extra sanitization steps.

Meals & Receptions

Lunch and breakfast will be served outdoors, weather permitting.

Evening meals, receptions, and our Monday night dinner party will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with overflow and congruency spaces in large spaces with plenty of room for social distancing.

Sanitization

Stringent sanitization protocols are one of the most effective means available of keeping our community safe and healthy. So we are going above and beyond to ensure that we keep all spaces sanitized, and each participant has access to do the same.

Personal hand sanitizer will be available to all attendees at check-in.

Sanitizer stations will be available throughout the Westin conference areas.

Restrooms will be cleaned frequently throughout the conference.

Hotel staff will clean all high traffic and high touch areas throughout the day, including elevator buttons, escalator railings, door handles, etc.

Each meeting room will be thoroughly sanitized at the end of each day.

We Will Stay On Top of Changes

Staying on top of COVID policies is a fluid process intended to keep the community, sponsors, guests, and staff's health at the forefront. We'll adjust if needed and communicate changes clearly and quickly so you can stay in the know.

As needed before the event, we will refine our travel, programming, lodging, and COVID-19 safety protocols. All financial commitments to The ITA Fall 2021 Fall Collaborative include a 100% money-back guarantee should the event be canceled due to COVID-19.
