MONDAY WORKSHOP
Junior Achievement (JA) Stock Market Challenge Simulation
Following the Monday “Connections” Keynote general session, all ITA Collaborative attendees will participate in a hands on Junior Achievement (JA) Stock Market Simulation. In this workshop session, attendees will experience firsthand the tools and lessons JA uses to teach students about teamwork, decision making, and financial literacy. This interactive workshop pulls concepts from the Connections keynote Ryan Jenkins into action as participants work through real time scenarios that mirror the dynamics students face in the classroom. As part of our giveback effort, we are proud to support Junior Achievement by providing three iPads for use during the simulation and by deepening our partnership with JA as our national charity. ITA’s goal is to support local JA activities at each ITA Collaborative going forward forward.
