Strategic Holding Partner (SHP)

Recognizing evolving business structures, alliances, and relationships created in our fast-moving industry, the ITA introduces a new membership category, Strategic Holding Partners (SHP). SHP’s create and manage a portfolio of related companies focusing on the long-term value created through strategic oversight, operational support, and resource allocation. The ITA’s Strategic Holding Partner Members are invested in Consulting & Reselling companies and related firms. The operational expertise and long-term vision of these Strategic Holding Partners complement the IT Alliance and membership constituencies. This membership is for the employees of the SHP only and not for the firms that they have invested in (i.e. not for the Consulting firm employees).

To qualify for an ITA Strategic Holding Partner Membership:

  • Own a minimum of three (3) Consulting & Reselling companies that maintain their individual entity status.
  • Merged Consulting & Reselling entities do not qualify, regardless of brand retention.
  • Be recommended by a current ITA member or member of the ITA staff or Board.
  • Demonstrate a history or track record of delivering quality services.
  • Employ professionals who have demonstrated a willingness to serve in volunteer capacities.
  • Endorse and agree to abide by the ITA Code of Professional Conduct.

Maximizing Your ITA Membership Benefits

When you become an ITA member,  you elevate your firm and employees by joining a group of highly recognized and respected industry professionals. Members get the most benefit when they:

  • Attend Collaboratives and benefit from the incredible resources and networking opportunities of our company!
  • Join a committee!
  • Share your knowledge and contribute to a Collaborative session!
  • Display the ITA logo on your firm’s website and professional social media accounts!
  • Network with ITA members throughout the year!
  • Attend optional social events at a Collaborative!

When you meet our criteria and are approved:

  • Submit your first year’s dues (currently $2,250). This includes your first year’s annual dues plus one prepaid registration for either the Fall or the Spring Collaborative conference.
  • Agree to pay the annual fee by September 1 of each year thereafter (currently $2,250 – includes one prepaid registration per dues year).
  • Agree to abide by the ITA Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Agree to promote the ITA Membership to their Consulting & Reselling companies.
  • Maintain your membership in good standing, including active association participation.
  • Commit 1-2 executive attendees to the Spring and Fall Collaboratives.
  • Strategic Holding Partners are prohibited from active solicitation during Collaborative meetings.
  • Strategic Holding Partner have no voting rights.
  • Strategic Holding Partners are prohibited from accessing benchmark data and/or polls.
