The Information Management and Technology Assurance (IMTA) section helps AICPA members who provide services in the areas of information security and cyber risk, privacy and IT risk management, business intelligence, and emerging technologies.

CPAs may also pursue the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) credential, which demonstrates an individual has the expertise to advise organizations on how to maximize information technology to manage their business.

Access to IMTA’s tools and resources is now included with AICPA membership.
