The ITA membership is made up of five different constituencies, each sharing the common goal of providing products and/or services to the small and mid sized business community (the SMB marketplace). Click on each membership type for more information and their Value Proposition.
Many ITL/CAS members have Consulting and Reselling (CR) teams within their firm who could benefit from participation in ITA. The CR community of leading consultants and implementers of mid-market ERP software founded our organization and helped create a unique space where technology leaders can grow and learn. With that in mind, we want to extend an opportunity for our ITL/CAS member firm’s Consulting & Reselling (CR) practice leaders to engage with ITA as well.

Consulting & Reselling Firms (CR)
Consulting & Reselling (CR) members comprise consulting firms, resellers, and VARs that provide SMB technology implementation and support. Whether you focus on business applications, managed services, infrastructure, security, or a combination of these, CR Members gain shared market intelligence on technology trends, proven implementation methods, deeper vendor relationships, and cross-referral opportunities. When faced with rapidly changing intelligent, interconnected environments, ITA’s collaborative community provides the insights and support you and your clients need.
Internal Technology Leaders OF CPA FIRMS (ITL)
ITL brings together CIOs and IT leadership teams from some of North America’s largest multi-office CPA firms. Our members connect at ITA meetings to share insights, exchange best practices, and collaborate on innovative strategies that deliver exceptional IT products and services to their firms.
Client Accounting Services (CAS)
ITA’s CAS membership brings together practice leaders and experts from the largest CPA firms across North America—professionals who arrive at every meeting ready to collaborate, share knowledge, and tackle the real-world challenges facing our firms and clients. This exclusive network connects forward-thinking CAS leaders with the strategic insights, proven methodologies, and collaborative relationships essential for navigating digital transformation. Our cooperative membership model ensures you benefit from collective experience with today’s opportunities while strategically preparing for tomorrow’s challenges and changes.
Consultants to the Profession (CTP)
Our Consultants to the Profession members provide management consulting services to our other membership groups and work with our members to improve the way they operate their businesses. Our CTPs consist of marketing and sales consultants, business advisors, strategic planning consultants and other professional services providers who focus on delivering their services to the technology consulting and CPA marketplace.
Technology Partners (TP)
Technology Partners are publishers of Business to Business (B2B) software for small to medium businesses (SMBs). ITA helps support Technology Partners in growing and building relationships with channel partners – Consultants/Resellers and CPA firms. Technology Partner members are active in helping recruit their non-ITA customers/partners into the ITA membership.
Strategic Holding Partner (SHP)
Recognizing evolving business structures, alliances, and relationships created in our fast-moving industry, the ITA introduces a new membership category, Strategic Holding Partners (SHP). SHP’s create and manage a portfolio of related companies focusing on the long-term value created through strategic oversight, operational support, and resource allocation. The ITA’s Strategic Holding Partner Members are invested in Consultant Reseller and related firms. The operational expertise and long-term vision of these Strategic Holding Partners complement the IT Alliance and membership constituencies. This membership is for the employees of the SHP only and not for the firms that they have invested in (i.e. not for the Consulting firm employees).
